Privacy Notice

SVG Consulting, Inc. ("SVG", "we", "us") provides management consulting, engineering and planning services, and the DgineAI distribution design platform to electric utilities. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
This notice covers this website only. Information SVG processes on behalf of a utility client under a services agreement is governed by that agreement, not by this notice.
What we collect
Information you give us
If you use the contact form, we collect your first and last name, work email address, organization, and whatever you choose to write in the message field. We ask for these so we can identify who is asking and reply usefully.
Please do not send confidential or client-sensitive material through the contact form. If you need to share something sensitive, tell us and we will arrange a secure channel.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps — for security and reliability. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
If analytics are enabled on this site, they are listed here along with the cookies they set. Add your analytics provider and cookie details here, or state that none are used.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and continue the conversation you started
- To understand what parts of our work visitors are interested in
- To keep the site secure and operating correctly
- To meet legal, audit and supplier-diversity reporting obligations that apply to us
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate this site and our business — for example our website host, our email provider, and the service that delivers contact form submissions to us. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, safety or property.
How long we keep it
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business relationship, and then deleted. Server logs are retained per our hosting provider's standard schedule.
Your rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request deletion or correction of it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection under the GDPR.
To exercise any of these, email us at DgineAI_info@svgconsulting.com. We will verify your request and respond within the period the applicable law allows.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
This site is aimed at business users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this notice we will update the date at the top of this page.
